Appearance: A handsome brown, white and tawny mix with lighter undersides. Exactly like this:
She wears a handsome silver battle helm, paired with standard double-action retractable battle claws. She often fights with a sword as well.
Personality: Fair and just with everything she does. She isn't quick to judge an owl by their outward appearance and will always consider both sides of the story. She can be recklessly brave in battle, however, and is willing to die for honor and the Tree.
History: She was born in the forest kingdom of Tyto with two other siblings, one of which was born deformed and the other dead within two days. Her parents were disgusted by their deformed owlet and attempted to kill him on multiple occasions, finally succeeding during flight training. When young Bronwyn asked where her brother was, her parents lied, saying he fell off a tree branch and died.
Bronwyn later discovered the truth after going out to look for her brother's body, which was hidden. After inspecting it she noticed claw marks on his head, which fit the description of an owl's talons.
The young owl flew back to her nest and confronted her parents, who argued that he was a danger to her, and 'unfit to live amongst them'. Distraught, Bronwyn attacked her parents, managing only to scratch her mother's chest before taking off.
She was found by a guardian while sheltering in Ambala, and was taken immediately to the Tree where she trained to be a Navigator, tracing the stars with her wings.
In her mind, the only owls unfit to live amongst others were those who were deformed, not on the outside, but on the inside.
