Dareya is both friendly and insecure, struggling to find her place among the owls who seem to actually know what they're doing.
She enjoys learning new things, especially new songs and stories, and is doing her best to prove herself worthy of being a Guardian singer.

History
Dareya was born outside the Tree, and was orphaned at a young age.
Thankfully, she was found and brought back to the Great Ga'Hoole Tree, where she was raised.
She considers herself incredibly lucky to have been rescued from almost certain death, and wants to repay the debt she perceives herself as owing the Guardians by being the best singer there is, as she has an affinity for music.
