Guardians
Requirements to go from owlet to junior

• One week since approval
• Two non-branching posts in different threads
• Branching thread

Requirements to go from junior to student 

• One month since becoming a junior
• Posts in two different chaw class threads for juniors
• One thread where your owl learns to hunt and/or hunts with other owls OR a battle against enemy owls

NOTE: Message a staff member when your junior is ready to become a student so they can be placed in a chaw.

Requirements to go from student to guardian

• Two months since becoming a student
• Posts in two different class threads for your chaw
• Achievement for your chaw*
• One thread at the Glauxian Brothers' Retreat

*achievements below
-Colliering: Successfully collected coals from a fire.
-Metals: Successfully forged an item.
-Weather-interpretation: Successfully flown a storm.
-Tracking: Successfully tracked a quarry.
-Navigation: Successfully navigated somewhere.
-Ga'Hooliology: Successfully performed solo tree maintenance. 
-Search and Rescue: Successfully rescued one owl.
-Healing: Successfully healed an owl.

Note: Chief Ryb and Queen must have been on the site at least two months since achieving current rank and must be elected by staff. Exceptions will be made in crises. 

New Order
Requirements to go from owlet to trainee

• One week since approval
• Two non-branching posts in different threads
• Branching thread

Requirements to go from trainee to scholar underling/soldier

• One month since becoming a trainee
• A post in a soldier class thread and a post in a scholar underling class thread
• One thread where your owl learns to hunt and/or hunts with other owls OR a battle against enemy owls

NOTE: Message a staff member when your trainee is ready to rank up so your owl can be placed in either position.

Note: Queen, general, and head scholar must be elected by staff. Only queen requires two months on site, however. Exceptions will be made in crises.

• One week since approval
• Two non-branching posts in different threads
• Branching thread
